Debra M. Burg
Debra M. Burg, Esq. joined Tarshis, Catania, Liberth, Mahon & Milligram, PLLC ("TCLMM") as an associate in August 2011. Debra has eight years of experience practicing law in both corporate and litigation environments.
Debra graduated from Albany Law School in 1999, where she was a member of Albany Law Review. After graduating from Albany Law School, Debra's first associate position was with Wollmuth, Maher & Deutsch LLP in New York, where she concentrated her practice on corporate transactional matters including public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, start-up company counseling, employment related matters and general corporate/governance matters. Thereafter, Debra expanded her corporate practice to include securities regulations and PIPE transactions with Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP in New York, and later worked for the Bloomberg Corporation as a contract attorney.
Prior to joining Tarshis, Catania, Liberth, Mahon & Milligram, PLLC, Debra was an associate attorney with Lewis & Greer, P.C. in Poughkeepsie, where she gained two years of successful litigation experience in the areas of commercial law, construction law, real property, real property taxation, landlord/tenant disputes, professional malpractice, debt collection and general corporate law. Debra is admitted to practice in New York; and is a member of the New York, Dutchess and Orange County Bar Associations, as well as the Mid-Hudson Women's Bar Association. Debra currently resides in Hopewell Junction with her husband and four children.
