Lia E. Mulligan
Lia Mulligan, a native of the Hudson Valley, joined Tarshis, Catania, Liberth, Mahon & Milligram as an associate in September, 2011. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Science magna cum laude from Hofstra University in 2007 and worked as a field organizer for the New York Civil Liberties Union before attending law school. During her time at Boston University School of Law, Lia was a Note Editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine, President of the BU Women's Law Association, and a lead advisor for the Student Advising Program. Lia also was specially selected for and completed an internship at Children’s Hospital in Boston with the Chief Counsel for Research Affairs. Lia's activities during her internship focused on intellectual property conflicts and ethical issues in genomic medicine.
Lia earned her juris doctor degree with a concentration in Health Law in May 2011. Lia is also a new author, having just published an article in the American Journal of Law & Medicine this past summer.
Lia is currently awaiting admission to the New York and Massachusetts Bars.
