Timothy G. Tuttle
Timothy Tuttle, Esq. (Tim) grew up in Putnam County, where he graduated from Brewster High School. After attending the University of Tennessee for one year, he transferred to Southern Connecticut State University when his family relocated to Connecticut in 1999. While at Southern, he was named to the Dean’s List, was second-team NCAA Division II Northeast Region in cross-country, and was captain of the cross-country and track teams. After graduation from Southern, he worked for a market research company in Fairfield County, CT for three years before deciding to attend law school.
Tim graduated from Hofstra University School of Law in 2009, where he earned a 1L Excellence Award in Civil Procedure, was a semi-finalist in the Long Island Moot Court Competition, was a member of Hofstra’s National Trial Competition team, and earned a Concentration in Criminal Law and Procedure. During his third year in law school, he worked in the house-counsel office for State Farm Insurance, where he worked on automobile, no-fault and premises liability cases, and wrote an article for the “Legal News You Can Use” newsletter titled “Parental Liability for Entrusting a Child with a Dangerous Instrumentality”.
Tim is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Connecticut, and is a member of the Connecticut, New York, Orange County and Dutchess County Bar Associations. Tim currently resides in Fishkill, is an avid sports fan who plays in a number of recreational sports leagues and runs and bikes in the area regularly.
