Rhett D. Weires a partner with the firm has been elected to serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Maternal Infant Services Network of Sullivan, Orange and Ulster Counties ("MISN"). MISN is a not-for-profit agency whose mission is to ensure that all women of childbearing age and their families have access to preventative and primary health care, social, nutritional and educational services needed for healthy pregnancies and healthy children. Mr. Weires practices law in the area of matrimonial and family law, and is acutely aware of the health care/medical insurance crisis in our State. Access to affordable and available medical insurance is vital to helping to ensure healthy babies, children, and mothers. Mr. Weires also represents hospitals and physicians, and is also aware of the adverse consequences associated with a lack of access to prenatal care and the unavailability of medical insurance.
